The liteECO® concept

SMELA liteECO® series combine motor, mechanical components, sensor and a drive controller in a unique configuration. This makes them the most compact electromechanical alternative to pneumatic short-stroke cylinders. They are ideally suited to linear movements inproduction lines, machine tools and packaging systems.

Space-saving

An integrated servo motor with position sensors enables movement profiles from simple to complex without the need for compressed air.

The highly efficient motor often saves more than 90 per cent in energy compared to pneumatic systems.

The liteECO® series

SMELA offers two high-performance liteECO® series for modern automation solutions: the BASE series and the INTEGRATED series. Both ranges are based on the same fundamental principle – a compact, telescopic design comprising a highly efficient servo drive and mechanical components – and aim to replace pneumatic short-stroke cylinders with energy-efficient, precise and durable electromechanical systems.
