The start-up SMELA from Magdeburg was able to win Mitteldeutsche Wohnwert GmbH (MWW) as an investor and receives a high six-figure sum. With MWW, the award-winning start-up project of the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg has a long-term and competent partner at its side.
The investment of a real estate company in a tech start-up proved to be the right decision for co-founder and CEO Benjamin Horn: "The cooperation was designed as equals from the very beginning - everyone knows each other's expectations. We are pleased about the trusting support we have gained through MWW. With the help of the investment, we are able to hire additional staff."
The managing director of MWW, Jan Förster, is also convinced of the investment in the future technology of SMELA: "This innovation will contribute to bringing Industry 4.0 forward. For plant constructors, automation companies and manufacturers of automatic machines, this innovation offers unbeatable advantages such as energy and installation space savings, fast commissioning, good controllability and simple integration into industrial plants. For us, these are unbeatable arguments and promising for the future."
